Ahhhhhhh Finally!

Yeap...i had a good day!... Good Friday. I slept until 4pm but i did woke up at 10.38am and realised i missed 8am lecture again...(its a normal thing for friday) haha... Then i thought about whether should i go for HRM lecture or not coz the lecture still have 1 more hour to go. I like my HRM lecturer coz she is very dedicated in explaining and her lecture is so good that the knowledge stays in my brain after listening to her. :)

End up...i did not go for lecture coz i rather sleep than go for an hour's class. What have i been up to since Feb 22nd until now? I was soooooo darn busy until i sorta loose my sense of awareness and felt like im senile already. (*very good! thumbs up!). Marketing Research in Practice is the biggest headache for all of us. Staring at the computer and brain freeze, trying to read the journal, searching definitions & thinking how to come up with the hypotheses. I have certainly pushed my mental strength up to a higher level coz i've been going on & on until i finish all my work. At times, my brain just turn blank while thinking hard so i will just look away from the comp for a while and tell myself to stay sane with perseverance. I set limits for the tasks that i need to accomplish before i sleep. If i haven't finish em, i won't hit the sack. Finding journals (and i mean good journals) is the "sweetest" thing and if the journal is about crap, ahhhh...Life is so Sweet! :)

For the past 2 weeks, i've been busy with non-stop study for my mid terms. Mid terms ended in Week 7 of study & the final week was 3 mid terms in a week. This sem i am extra hardworking for mid terms & asgns. After 1 mid term is over, i go home straight, continue to study again and the cycle continued thrice for the 3 back to back tests. It's taxing for the brain & body but it feels good to work hard and reap the rewards later.

Then last week, it was time to do assignments. I did not touch my assignments during mid term coz i cant focus juggling both. Plus, i put more emphasis in mid term and i know assignments can be finished in time with other group mates' cooperation. All of my assignments are group work, unlike other colleges' system. It's also good for Marketing students to work with people and learn how to handle different peoples' way of doing things. Normally i do my assignments with 2 groups of people. I like doing with the bunch of 4 guys coz the way we do assignment is damn steady, start 1 week or days before due date But very efficient in brainstorming and finishing our tasks. No gan cheong gan cheong all. I LIKE! :D Thanks Soon Teck, Caymond, Shi Wei & Juen! You guys always ROCK! :)

So today, my last asgn was handed up & now i left 3 out of 5 presentations. Presentations are like the fruit of labor after all the hard work. Yayyyyy! I can chill for now. Going to enjoy my weekends doing what i do best. Shopping! Life is back to my normal self. I'm so gonna random, hyper & laugh like crazy with my dear gfs. I feel great being with them coz they let me be as random as i want & they are already so used to it. :) I'm looking forward to a superb hang out, chill out & hearty girls talk.

The best thing about my day is i had a good long chat with my cousin, Alvin who lives in Singapore. I have another cousin who is also the same age as Alvin & me, so the 3 of us are the 1988 Dragons. Alvin & I played a lot when we were young & i had great childhood memories with him. He is soooo farneee when he was young. Very playful & humorous. As we grew up, we hardly meet and all of us among the other cousins are busy with our own lives. I really enjoyed my childhood with all of my cousins, both dad & mum's side. Each of them took care & played with me, especially the older ones. It was sooo fun! :D

While chatting with Alvin, i got to know a whole lot things about him. I have missed out so much about his life but its great to hear good updates from him. The best thing is to hear how his character has changed to be a mature & responsible young man. He is now serving the police force for Singapore's compulsory National Service. I guess the stint has made him become who he is now. I was surprised while talking to him coz he is more talkative and has a lot of opinions to share. I got to know that he is random too! Hahaha... I thought im the only random weirdo among my family but now i see some similarities of me in him. Hmmm...very interested to see if he's as random as me coz i haven't really meet a random fella like me before. Looking forward to hang out with cousin in singapore when i go back home! :D

Since we can chat so much now...i hope we can bond again & be close cousins. I love the feeling of being able to talk so much with a person though both parties have not met for a long time & do not feel estrange to each other. Family bond is always the best thing a person can count on. Last year when 1 of my cousin got married, i felt so proud when someone said let's take a picture of all the cousins. I really feel the happiness and bond i have with all of my cousins of different ages. These are the pictures taken during my cousin's wedding in 2007.

OMG! I can't believe time passed soo fast that its 6.10am now but i don't feel tired. Usually my brain will freeze now if im working on my assignments.
