A visit to Segi College

Last week on the 27th, i was at Segi College Damansara for the "Love Your Body" Seventeen magazine event. I didn't know it was a Seventeen event coz my friend only mentioned to me i'll be doing an event for Sunplay. It started at 10am until 4pm.

Mags are rm6 but with a free highlighter. Haha...

When i reached the college i observed the surroundings & the design of the college is pretty nice. Not to mention it is quite huge as well. I think it's design is sorta like Greece where their buildings are supported by tall cylinder pillars & there're statutes & stone made chairs with lion carvings on it. The infrastructure is well designed & there are some cool stuff that other colleges don't have. I spotted a plasma tv (wth?!) at the lift showing the classes that are going on & coming up classes with their venues & timing. Hmm....how cool is that? (but...sai hmm sai ah???)

When i walked around the classes i felt a lil envy for the college's facilities & environment. Then i thought to myself did i really made the right choice to study in UTAR? When i was deciding which college to go for after my SPM my major concern is to enjoy a good campus life in terms of academic & sports. Ha-ha...those were just temporary regrets coz i gained so much valuable things from UTAR that is my irreplaceable friends that i think i won't get to meet such true friends if i were at another college. :) :)

View from my booth. A tower clock linked with the swimming pool

What i have to do for the event is to give out Sunplay samples, carry out games & sell the products. The booth was situated at the balcony facing a tower clock & the swimming pool. Goshhh!...though there was shelter under my head, after a few hours i had a headache which was probably caused by the sweltering heat! Ahhhhh......

Sunplay & Lip ice

The booth

There were other sponsors like Dutch Lady Yoghurt & Yoghurt drink

Fresh Kon contact lens.....(one of the girl can give me a free box of lenses & future discounts *winks winks*)

and also Adidas range of fragrances & body products...( i didn't expect their frangrances are actually so cheap)

I saw some ex-Utarians there which is Connie & others. I'm glad they remember me & i got to catch up with them too. Happy to see my ex-coursemates. :)

I'll be roving to other colleges coming up where UCSI will be next then comes Monash, followed by APIIT & finally KDU. Too bad ain't goin to HELP coz i have some good friends there. Update you guys more for the coming colleges. :)

Back to work again....

Last week Alex, my leader of my job for Izzi Broadband suddenly asked me to go back to help during the weekends. Then i thought since I have finished all of my visits to the shopping malls, i am free & also don't have any plans for the weekends. So i went back to work in Low Yat.

I woke up early on Saturday just like what i use to do during my 3 months sem break for work everyday. But the feeling is not the same as last time anymore. My house will have just me alone so i will get up get ready for work & the morning feeling is what i like most. I like the feeling of my daily routine that i use to do though it was really tiring. Those were great memories! :)

My colleagues that worked with me previously couldn't make it so i'm the only one who went back to help. I wished they were there with me coz then only we could revive back the moments of pure laughter & helluva fun! I really cherish those times a lot....I met a bunch of wonderful friends i can never forget. Alex, Anthony, Joey, Wyes, Yee Wah, Janis, Hui Voon, Stephanie, Edward, Alvin, Boon Kith, Jinn Haur, Axton & Tai. Still keeping in touch now & i'm always looking forward to meet up with them anytime. I meet Stephanie & Edward everyday....Duh~! Haha... Axton & Tai quite often too! What a small world this 2 fellas are in the same uni as me :)

I was bored at work coz there's no laughter like last time. As u know i am the most random person among them so laughing helped to make time pass so fast! Laughing & laughing & more laughter plus chit chatting made hours pass so fast that working doesn't suck at all with them around. I will never forget Wyes made me screamed out of shock that the whole Ground floor went silent for a while. Dang! That was very embarrassing but fond memories.
(sei Wyes...haha)

My time spent there was practically rotting & modelling myself there in a daze. Looking at the big wall clock is a pain. But something enlighten me a lot....My other friends came to look for me & i was so happy to see them all! :) :)

Kee Hong....he pranked called me feigning as a customer but i recognised his voice so i walked all the way to his shop & i found him squatting there laughing! wth...haha

2 full time jokers

Jasper! The happy-go-lucky...

Kok Weng...

So Happy to see them again! Glad to know these guys...

Meeting them has certainly made my day. They are always goofing around & never fail to make me laugh. Other friends that i also met are Yeong Ginn, Derrick, Alvin, Ewe Jin, Ping Yeow, Gerry & others. Thanks for the good old times. Take Care guys! :)

What a Pleasant day!

It was a Holiday yesterday & i spent a great day in KLCC. Supposed to go Mid Valley, 1U & The Curve but changed plan so Kevin, my steadiest friend & coolest housemate & I went to KLCC. Typical me... i was soooo excited when Kevin suggested to go KLCC instead of the other 3 malls coz i wanted to buy a shirt in Isetan. If we didn't go yesterday, i would also go on this weekend. Ngek ngek ngek...

I've been shopping frequently after all my mid terms, assignments, tests & presentations are Over over over... WoOhOo~! Practically almost went to every mall i wanted to. From Sg.wang to Pavillion to KLCC to Mid Valley then 1U & finally KLCC again. It was helluva FUN! Weeee~ I had a hectic time goin through all my work so i said to myself after it has over i really ought to reward myself handsomely. Puahaha...

We entered Isetan 1st as i wanna check out the shirt. Then i spotted a nice formal pants so i went to try it. It fits me just nice! Wouuu~ The cutting, design & length is perfect for me. Usually i'll just go G2000 or some other formal clothing line to find formal wear but there are also many other good choices in Isetan. They have a melange of brand that is only available in Isetan. That's why i like to shop in KLCC coz they have everything.

Usually for formal wear i'll wear skirt which suits me best but i've been wanting to find a nice pants so im glad i found it. After looking around at the others & also G2000 i didn't see any other nicer ones so i bought the one i like. Teehee... :)

After that it was Kev's turn to look for his shirts. Topman is the right place to go. This season it has some nice long sleeve shirts so guys...perhaps u can go check it out. I spotted a male manequin wearing a T-shirt & pants but why lar a necklace with big BEADS was daggling around his neck??? wth?! Ahaha~

Kev bought his shirts so both of us have new stuffs. Yay! The feeling of having new clothes, shoes, bags &.....aiya....as long as its something new la it makes me Happy! When you're Happy, you're Healthy so we can conclude that Shopping is good for Health. Ha-ha-ha....This is Miss Lee Jia Li's theory.

Hmmm...i felt hungry already so we decided to grab a bite. Think think think.....TING! (lightbulb blinking) Chilli's it shall be! So we headed for Lat Chiu's! Ahaha....Luckily it was not packed. Usually by evening i can see a long queue waiting. I ordered something light which is some sandwich which i've forgotten the name. I knew their burger would kill me so i didnt order that & i just feel like eating something light. In Chilli's every portion is big so their sandwich is not the "sandwich" but its like a burger with large thick fries. They call it sandwich huh....
Kev ordered some fajita which i know would kill him. Wahaha... When he ate half the portion, the cheese indeed worn him out of eating. Ahaha~ He looked damn stress already by sitting sideways looking around, trying to get more oxygen. Haha...I remembered the Beef Bacon Burger that i ordered last time really require me to have enough stamina to finish it. The burger itself is about 5 inches tall & i tell uuuu...the beef patty is as thick as 4 Ramlys. Haha...We also shared the beef queso which is the chips dipped with salsa & cheese with beef as our starter. Yummy! :)

Now our tummies are filled so we decided to get our movie tickets first. The cinema is just beside Chilli's. Goood! Oh maaann...the queue is pretty long then Kev came up with a good idea. He asked me to check my phone whether Maxis has that service for movie ticket bookings. So i just give it a try & Hey! ada wor!...

But sigh only a few choices. The others totally CMI except for Gone Baby Gone. I really wanted to watch Step Up 2 so we thought for a while. Haizzz...the queue is so long so its either i choose GBG or join the queue. So i decided to go with GBG & i made the booking with my phone....received the confirmation SMS..... THEN when we were about to go to the counter Smarties Kev came up with a s m a r t i e s idea.

Kev: "Eh, we just say we wanna change the movie la!"

Me: "WTH?! Yeah! What a greeaaat idea!"

I never thought of this trick before so Kev taught me something new. I should really fully utilise my phone since mine is 3G enable. Sigh...

While the lady was doing the ticketing Kev & I was giggling schemingly to each other. I was sooo darn happy we got away with the long queue. Chahahahaha~ Our movie was 9.00pm so we continued walking around for a while. There's nothing much to see so i knew Kev wanted to go Kinokuniya so much. So we went there to read some books.

I was keen to find out about Health so i chose a book which is title "How celebs got their figure" something like that. Forgotten the title. I sat at a spot & read diligently. Spending time in a book store is really a good way to pass your time....meaningfully. It might sound boring to some but there're so many great books around that'll seriously awe you.

I thought that Kev would last longer than me but by 7+ he was ready to leave. I wanted to finish the book so i read it all then we left the book store. I guess when im super bored i can just come down here to read some good books. :)

So it's time for MOO-VIE! The best part of Step Up 2 is the dance in the rain where Andie showed more of her talents. I prefer Step Up instead coz there were more good dancing scenes alternately & both the main actor & actress were better. I just lurvvveee the feeling of watching dance movies. Hope there're more chun-ner ones to come. =D

We left KLCC & ohhh....i had that feeling im already missing the mall before i leave. Shopping malls are indeed my 2nd home. Haha...We passed by Jln Bukit Bintang where it is just so nice to be at night. There's where i feel the heart of Kuala Lumpur & typical me... i really like the feeling of hanging out at night. Strolling the streets makes me feel like not going home so soon THEN....Kev asked whether wanna have supper or not. I said YEAH! Muahaha.... boleh lepak lepak lagi. We went to the buzzling street of Jln Alor to have Beef Noodles! Mmm~...mmmmm~
I had a splendid day shopping (after all the malls my shopping list is at the moment empty), eating good food & watching a nice movie with the company of a great friend. What more can Lil MiSs Exuberant ask for? I wanna thank Kevin Tan Shyh Ann for being a wonderful shopping companion so i'm pleased & looking forward for more future cooperations. Ahaha...Thanks a lot Kev! :)
* i wanted to post some pics but today the blogger damn potong stim so i just forget it * Yikes...
